The delivery program follows a consistent schedule. The first batch was transferred on April 19, consisting of two aircraft. The second batch, on July 10, likely included only one unit — possibly due to the ongoing contract with Algeria, which ordered 14 aircraft of this type, partially financed with its own resources. The third batch was delivered on August 12 with two aircraft; the fourth on September 15; and the fifth on October 6, both also consisting of two aircraft. Thus, so far, the Russian Aerospace Forces have received nine Su-34s in 2025.

In 2024, Russia received 10 new Su-34s, also in dual batches, indicating stable and continuous production.

According to the The Military Balance 2025 report, the VKS currently operates more than 150 Su-34/M aircraft. Despite losses recorded in the war against Ukraine — estimated at 36 units since the start of the invasion — UAC maintains its replacement capacity through expanded production in Novosibirsk.

UAC’s General Director, Yuriy Slyusar, stated that the company “is not slowing down production and remains committed to strengthening the state’s defense capabilities.”
